Locking the player with a PIN
A PIN on the player, and on the playlists you do not want changed.
Parental Control in Settings sets a PIN. Once it is set:
- Lock player locks the player itself; it asks for the PIN to come back.
- Categories your provider marks as adult ask for the PIN before they open.
- A playlist can be locked so it cannot be edited or removed without it.
Choosing one
Pick something a child in the house cannot guess, which rules out birthdays and 1234. Write it down somewhere that is not the device.
