What is a MAC address, and where do I find mine?

The number that identifies your device when you activate it.

In one sentence

A MAC address is a permanent identifier belonging to your device's network hardware. It looks like 00:1A:79:4B:2C:8D and it does not change when you reinstall the app or restart the device.

Why activation uses it

It means your activation belongs to a device rather than to a login you could share. There is no account password to leak, and nothing to type on a remote control every time you sit down.

Where to find it

Open VERINZO Player once. The MAC address is shown on the home screen and again in Settings. Type it exactly as displayed, including the colons.

Changing device

A new device has a different MAC address, so it needs its own activation. If you replaced a device rather than added one, contact support or your reseller and ask them to move the activation across.
