What is Catch-Up TV?

Watching a programme that already aired, and what has to be in place for it to work.

In one sentence

Catch-Up lets you go back and watch something that has already been broadcast — last night's match, this morning's news — instead of only what is live right now.

What it needs

Your provider has to record and keep the channel. Most that offer it keep somewhere between one and seven days, and only on some channels. If your provider does not record a channel, no player can replay it.

How you use it

Open Catch Up, pick a channel, pick a day, then pick the programme. It plays like any recording — you can pause it, and skip forward and back.

If it looks empty

That means the guide has no past entries for that channel, which almost always means the provider is not recording it. Try a major channel first to confirm the feature itself is working.
