Using more than one device
Each activation covers one device, identified by its MAC address.
An activation is tied to a single device by its MAC address. Plans differ in how many devices they cover, so check the plan you are on: for another screen you either move to a plan that allows it, or activate the second device separately.
Adding a second device
Install the app on it, open it once, and activate it with its own MAC address and device key. Nothing on the first device changes.
Replacing a device
A new stick or box has a different MAC address, so the old activation does not follow it by itself. Tell us both MAC addresses — the old one and the new one — and we will move the remaining time across.
Multiscreen
Multiscreen shows several channels at once on one screen. It is one device watching several channels, not several devices, so it needs no extra activation — but it does need enough internet for every stream at once, and a box with enough power to decode them. On a modest stick, two is usually the limit.
Send us a message and tell us which step you are on — it saves a round of questions.
