Adding an Xtream Codes account
Three values instead of one link — and usually a better result.
Xtream Codes is a way of logging in to your provider rather than downloading a list from it. Your provider gives you three things:
- a host (sometimes called server or portal) — for example
http://example-server.com:8080 - a username
- a password
Steps:
- In the app, choose XTREAM CODES on the login screen.
- Enter the host exactly as given, including
http://and the port number after the colon if there is one. - Enter the username and password. They are case-sensitive.
Why it is usually the better choice
With Xtream the player asks the server what you have access to, rather than reading a fixed file. In practice that means posters and descriptions for films and series, episodes grouped properly, and a fuller TV guide.
If your provider gave you both an M3U link and Xtream details, use Xtream. For the difference in full, see what Xtream Codes are.
If it will not sign in
Login details are incorrect almost always means the host is wrong rather than the password — a missing port number or https where the server wants http. See error messages.
Send us a message and tell us which step you are on — it saves a round of questions.
