When a playlist will not load
The link, the login, or the provider — in that order of likelihood.
"Your file is invalid"
What arrived was not a playlist. Usually:
- The link has expired, or the provider has changed it.
- The link is to a web page about the playlist, not the playlist itself. A usable M3U link normally ends in
.m3uor.m3u8, or containsget.php. - Part of the link is missing. Long links get cut when they travel through a chat app — copy it again from the original message.
Test it in a browser: paste the link and a file should download. If the browser shows a page or an error, the link is the problem and your provider is the one who can fix it.
"Login details are incorrect" on Xtream
Nine times out of ten the host is wrong, not the password:
- The port number is missing.
http://example.comandhttp://example.com:8080are different addresses. httpswhere the server only speakshttp, or the other way round.- A trailing slash, or the
/csome providers add for a portal — the host is the address only. - A space at the end from pasting.
Then check the username and password for case: they are case-sensitive.
"No Data Found"
The playlist loaded and is empty. Either your subscription with that provider has expired, or the package has nothing in the section you are looking at.
The playlist loaded once and is now empty
Your provider's subscription has probably ended. Reloading will not bring it back — Reload on the home screen re-fetches the list, and an empty list fetched again is still empty.
Some channels play and others do not
That is normal and it is not the player: individual streams go down at the provider's end all the time. If most channels fail, see buffering and channels that will not open.
