Using a VPN with the player

The app can hold OpenVPN profiles, which OpenVPN Connect then runs.

Some providers are unreachable on some networks. The app can store .ovpn profiles and hand them to OpenVPN Connect, which does the connecting.

  1. Install OpenVPN Connect on the device. VERINZO does not connect on its own and will say OpenVPN Connect is not installed if it is missing.
  2. In VERINZO, add a profile — FILE to pick an .ovpn file already on the device, or URL to download one.
  3. Add the username and password if the profile needs them. Profile is missing required credentials means it does and they are not there.
  4. Start the profile. OpenVPN Connect takes over and connects.

We do not supply VPN profiles and we do not run a VPN service. This is a convenience for people who already have one.
